Voulez & EY Pitch Clinic for Female Founders

Women set up about 40% of new businesses. Yet, in 2017, only 2.2% of venture capital funding went to female founders. An identical pitch from an all male team is four times more likely to get funded than one that includes a woman. Subconscious bias even means that investors ask different questions to female founders vs. their male counterparts, leading to very different funding outcomes.

As part of our efforts to change that, we have partnered with EY to start addressing these issues. This pitch clinic is part of those efforts - a rare opportunity for a group of female founders to not only get feedback on their business pitch and approach from a range of experienced investors but also to get direct advice from EY experts on topics such as:
